Fianna Fáil Councillor for the Ardee and Mid-Louth area on Louth County Council. First elected May 2019 and re-elected for a second term June 2024.

As a councillor since May 2019, I believe in working to get things done for local people whether it is an individual query or on behalf of community groups. 

 

I am passionate about many quality of life issues here in Louth and have used my position to highlight those locally including remote working & ehubs, facilities for younger people, climate action, rural community living, traffic calming and infrastructure. I am particularly passionate about LGBT+ rights as the first openly LGBT+ person ever elected in Louth.

 

Along with my duties with Louth County Council I have a number of other commitments and interests:

• Member of the Railway Preservation Society of Ireland
